Lady Gaga – Born This Way – Zombie Man Tattoo Facepainting

I was hired by a client to paint his face similar to like the skull tattoo guy in Lady Gaga’s video for the song Born This Way. I had just over one hour to complete it. The client was going to the Lady Gaga concert that evening on a VIP fan package and and so he wanted to look his best.

Learn how to paint faces and make money at it

So you want to learn how to paint faces, huh?

Well that’s great because I love painting faces and I enjoy getting paid well to do it by people that appreciate it.  I didn’t always know how to paint faces and in fact, once upon a time I was not interested in painting faces.

One summer day a few years ago I went to a festival and among many of the attractions there was  a really talented face painting artist who was busy painting face after face with fantastic colors and imagery that blew everyone away, me included.

Making the rounds of the festival, I ended up back at the artist’s booth a few hours later on where he was still working with hardly a break. I’ve always known about face painting  and that some money can be made from doing childrens parties, however I had never seen it take to this level nor thought that it could be this lucrative. Every time the cash register opened I got to glimpse at the wads inside and in these tough times, I was impressed.

I had been looking to move into a new artistic and creative fields that are lucrative and this seemed like a perfect means of making some more income.  When I arrived home after the festival I began my research into face painting and came up with a direction for myself to learn the art of face painting.

There was no School of Face Painting in my area, if there is even such a thing, and the face painting that was taught in my area was in my opinion, childish and plain and nothing at all like what I had seen that artist do at the festival. The only way to learn face painting was and still is very expensive, requiring me to travel to another part of the Continent and to learn from a select  few world re-known face painting masters who travel around the world and give seminars to people like myself.

I learned the techniques of the “masters of face painting”, and practiced what I had learned and during that time  of learning and practicing, I also came up with a business plan that would take my new skills and make an income from it. Now, a few years later, I am like that artist that I first saw that Summer day at that festival , working at shows and parties and festivals making $100.00 per hour.

What I have done on this website is finally make available real photo and video tutorials of all sorts of projects  that give away all sorts of tricks and tips and shortcuts on how to paint faces and how to make money doing it. I wish that I had a website like this around when I first started because it would have saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of time as well.
